The caged wings!

Even in this modern era of development She feels unsafe to travel alone at nights When all this world is progressing positively, she still has to fight for her basic rights! She starts questioning her dressing When one stares at her with his lusty eyes Why does this world turn deaf ears To her scary and dreadful cries! Why do we mourn when its a girl Why dont we realise shes a priceless pearl Stop objectifying their breasts and butt! And incase of rejection,stop calling them a slut! To live a very basic comfortable life The women has to pay alot! With every step towards independence Her character is questioned, and what not! She is considered to be the weaker sex While she's the one giving birth to the 'Brave' Before doing wrong to anyone,do remember We all have to walk the paths we pave! I cant be a part of this patriarchy, Nor do i want to be a part of the matriarchy, Why cant we all stay beyond all of this, It's the world for 'us',neither 'hers'nor 'his' Its so saddening out there that, Men who actually respect women are very few, Whenever you feel like questioning her abilities,do remember, Its a 'woman' who raised you!
